Blue serving bowl wheel thrown in an iron rich stoneware clay and glazed with a blue Chun and brown Ohata. Fired in a Gas reduction kiln to 1280 degrees.
These pots are dishwasher safe and food safe, although washing by hand is the preferred. This cup is made with high iron content clay body that is reduction fired. This kind of firing can make angled edges susceptible to chipping if they’re bumped heavily so handle pots with care.
