These bowls are wheel thrown and trimmed, decorated with porcelain slip and glazed in light celadon glaze. Fired to 1280 in a gas reduction atmosphere.
These bowls are lovely to hold as the lines left in the clay from throwing make them tactile to hold. These are the same shape and height as my gelato bowls just a different colour and its fun seeing them for a different use.
These pots are dishwasher safe and food safe, although washing by hand is the preferred. This cup is made with high iron content clay body that is reduction fired. This kind of firing can make angled edges susceptible to chipping if they’re bumped heavily so handle pots with care.
