This handled vase is wheel thrown and trimmed, in a speckled iron clay. Thrown in a traditional style and decorated in porcelain. Glazed in a blue Chun glaze and fired to 1280 in a gas reduction kiln.
These pots are dishwasher safe and food safe, although washing by hand is the preferred. This cup is made with high iron content clay body that is reduction fired. This kind of firing can make angled edges susceptible to chipping if they’re bumped heavily so handle pots with care.
