Large serving bowl is wheel thrown with stoneware clay and glazed with high fire glazes. These bowls are thrown with throwing lines left in the clay, this gives the bowl a very tactile aesthetic. Glazed in Ohata and Chun glazes and fired in a reduction atmosphere.
These pots are dishwasher safe and food safe, although washing by hand is the preferred. These pots are made with high iron content clay body that is reduction fired. This kind of firing can make angled edges susceptible to chipping if they’re bumped heavily so handle pots with care.
