This serving platter is wheel thrown and trimmed using an iron rich stoneware clay. Glazed in bronze Ohata and Blue Chun glazes. Fired to 1280 in a gas reduction kiln.
These pots are dishwasher safe and food safe, although washing by hand is the preferred. This cup is made with high iron content clay body that is reduction fired. This kind of firing can make angled edges susceptible to chipping if they’re bumped heavily so handle pots with care.
